Fan makes loud noise

Problem encountered:

I have a stand fan and it makes loud noise like "clock clock clock" when switch on.

Solution:
Found the spinner is screwed incorrectly. Unscrew and tighten the spinner. 
The "clock clock clock" sound disappears.
